We provide bulk billed radiology services, specifically tailored for GPs, Chiropractors, Podiatrists and Physiotherapists, at convenient hours.

All of our X-Rays are read twice. Once by a Medical Specialist (Radiologist) and again by a UK Trained Reporting Radiographer.

We take great care to make sure that exactly the right image is taken to answer the clinical question being asked by your referring professional.

We accept all GP referrals for plain X-Rays, 6 days a week. It doesn’t matter what referral form has been used— we will fit you in and get your X-Ray done quickly. We love helping you avoid long waits in ED or at other facilities. All your images will be uploaded to the PRP digital database, so your referring GP will be able to view them quickly, and access your report in their normal way.

We are the only facility on the Central Coast that can measure not only your bone density but also the quality of your bone, using a new technology called Trabecular Bone Score (TBS). GPs and Endocrinologists are now using this new measurement technique to gain a deeper understanding of when treatment is required for bone density issues.

As the experts on feet, podiatrists often refer for X-Rays to rule out infections, arthritic changes, fractures, and many more conditions. We have a very detailed understanding of the exacting requirements for podiatry X-Rays and have consulted extensively with podiatrists to develop and refine our protocols.

Chiropractors are trained to take and interpret their own X-Rays, but most do not have the time to be able to do this. Since our two of our Directors are chiropractors, we believe we have developed the deepest understanding of the precise requirements of chiropractors for the capture of functional images of the spine.

Podiatrists, Chiropractors and Medical Specialists often refer for leg length scans. Most facilities perform leg length scans lying down. This didn’t make sense to us. So through a review of the literature and experience over time, we have developed a leg length X-Ray protocol to capture the images in a standing (weight bearing) position. This allows your clinician to analyse the mechanics of your legs in their functional state.

You can book online for X-Rays, Standing Leg Length X-Rays, and Bone Densities. For other scans such as CT Scans, MRI, Ultrasounds and Dental x-rays, these are not performed at our location. Please contact PRP Imaging to have those scans performed.
